Motherhood for me started when I fell in love with Derek, who came as a package deal with his six-year-old son, Aidan, and I became a bonus mom. After Derek and I got married, we began the fertility journey. Sadie was born on February 20, 2024. I was 36 when she was born. My journey to motherhood may not have been how or when I imagined it when I was younger, but it also has been much more magical than I ever expected.
